Clinical studies on polynucleotides
Clinical studies conducted in Europe and South Korea indicate a high efficacy of polynucleotides in improving skin texture and reducing signs of aging. A study published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology (2023) showed a 35% improvement in skin elasticity and a 28% improvement in collagen density after a series of 3 treatments. A further study from Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (2022) demonstrated a significant improvement in skin hydration, texture and radiance after 4 weeks.
Unlike hyaluronic acid-based fillers that provide immediate but temporary volume, polynucleotides act as biostimulators — they activate the fibroblast cells to produce new collagen and elastin. The result is a gradual, natural improvement that lasts over time, without creating an “overfilled” or artificial appearance.
Detailed treatment protocol
The recommended PolyPhil treatment protocol includes 3-4 treatments at intervals of 2-4 weeks. Injection is performed using a micro-bolus technique or a nappage technique in the areas of the face, neck, décolletage and the back of the hands. Each treatment lasts about 20-30 minutes and requires no significant recovery time — patients can return to their routine immediately.
Initial results are noticeable as early as after the first treatment, with continued improvement over 4-6 weeks. Optimal results are maintained for 6-12 months, after which maintenance treatments once every 6 months are recommended to preserve the results.
