Thunder is based on the unique Quanta Mixed Technology® technology, enabling the combination of two wavelengths – 755nm Alexandrite and 1064nm Nd:YAG – emitted simultaneously or sequentially through a single delivery.
This combination enables precise matching to skin type, hair color and the clinical needs of each patient, and opens up a diverse range of treatment options:
from precise and fast hair removal treatments, through treatment of pigmented lesions and vascular lesions, to skin texture renewal and smoothing of fine lines.

Technical Specifications and Indications
Quanta System’s Thunder combines two wavelengths — 755nm Alexandrite and 1064nm Nd:YAG — in a single system with Quanta Mixed Technology (QMT). This combination enables effective treatment across a wide range of indications: hair removal for all skin types (phototypes I-VI), vascular treatments (spider veins, veins), pigmentation removal, skin rejuvenation and treatment of active acne.
The OptiScan TH scanner, Quanta System’s unique patent, enables automatic scanning of large treatment areas with uniform energy distribution — reducing pain, shortening treatment times and improving safety. The maximum spot size reaches 24 mm, allowing fast coverage of large areas such as the back, legs and chest.
