Q-Plus Series | A platform offering multiple wavelengths in Q-Switched technology
Q-Plus is one of the few platforms designed to address a broad range of tattoo ink colors using True Laser technology from active Q-Switched sources, rather than the consumable dye-based lasers common on the market. Devices in the Q-Plus series support a wide range of advanced treatments.

Up to 4 Pulse Modes
Dedicated emission modes that allow the optimal pulse to be used across the treatments performed, depending on the configuration.
Quanta Mixed Technology®
An exclusive technology that enables mixing and emitting wavelengths – Ruby (694 nm) together with Nd:YAG (1064 nm) or FD Nd:YAG/KTP (532 nm). Available with Q-Plus C-MT.
Multiple Handpieces
A range of handpieces engineered to address a wide variety of skin conditions, offering different treatment options depending on the configuration.
Q-Plus – EVO: The Advanced Platform for Tailored Treatments
The Q-Plus series – the EVO family – is a laser platform available in 6 different models, optimally matched to users’ needs and ensuring maximum flexibility. A single system can integrate up to two different laser sources – pure Q-Switched or a hybrid Q-Switched/Long-Pulse combination.
The Q-Plus series is an ideal solution for performing a wide range of treatments, including removal of pigmented lesions, tattoo removal, skin resurfacing, treatment of vascular lesions and hair reduction.
Multiple Wavelengths
Q-Plus is an effective, powerful laser platform based on Q-Switched technology, which can also be configured with lasers in Long-Pulse mode.
Q-Plus uses Q-Switched technology, which produces extremely short pulses. These pulses create a photo-acoustic effect targeted at ink and pigment while leaving the surrounding skin unharmed. These laser systems can fragment the pigment into small particles, which are absorbed and cleared by the body through the process of phagocytosis.
The Q-Switched Effect
Optibeam II
The OptiBeam II handpieces – Quanta’s official term for its flat-top profile handpieces – are available in round or square spot shapes. Square, flat-top handpieces are ideal for tattoo removal. Round holographic handpieces are designed to conform to the shapes of pigmented lesions. In addition, two fractional handpieces are perfect for skin resurfacing and rejuvenation with very short recovery time, or for treating pigmented lesions with no downtime.
Contact Skin Cooling or Cold-Air Skin Cooling
The Contact Skin Cooler cools the skin during laser treatment, effectively reducing discomfort and enabling the use of appropriate energies – particularly in vascular lesion treatments – to minimize potential side effects. The Skin Cryo handpiece, by contrast, is designed to work in combination with a compatible external air-cooling unit, delivering a stream of cold air intended to reduce discomfort and prevent thermal injury to the skin tissue.
Twain Handpieces
The Twain IPL handpiece is intended for: hair removal, dermatological vascular treatments, benign pigmented lesions, skin rejuvenation and active acne. The Twain 2940 handpiece is intended for: skin ablation and full skin resurfacing. In Fractional mode, it is suitable for: skin resurfacing, traumatic and acne scars, epidermal discoloration (dyschromia), and sun and age spots.

Why Clinics Choose Q-Plus
Clinics looking for a single Q-Switched platform that covers most pigment and tattoo-removal indications choose the Q-Plus from Quanta System’s EVO series for its flexibility: the system can be configured with up to two laser sources, in a pure Q-Switched configuration or a hybrid Q-Switched/Pulsed combination. This way, a single device serves a broad spectrum of treatments and improves return on equipment investment. Lee Daniels, the Israeli distributor of Quanta System since 2006 (Herzliya, 600+ supported clinics, ISO 9001:2015), provides clinical training, service and local technical support, along with AMAR-registered equipment. Frequently Asked Questions — Q-Plus
Which wavelengths are available on Q-Plus?
Depending on the configuration, the Q-Plus EVO series supports up to five wavelengths: 1064nm, FD KTP 532nm, Ruby 694nm, 1320nm and Alexandrite 755nm. A broad range of wavelengths enables treatment of a variety of ink colors and pigment types in a single device. Not all wavelengths are available in every configuration.
Does Q-Plus remove all tattoo ink colors?
The platform is designed to treat a broad spectrum of tattoo ink colors using a combination of wavelengths from active Q-Switched sources (with no need for consumable dyes). The colors that can be treated depend on the device configuration and the physician’s assessment.
Does Q-Plus also perform hair removal?
Q-Plus performs hair removal only when configured with a Pulsed/Long-Pulse source or with the Twain IPL handpiece. In a pure Q-Switched configuration, the device is intended for tattoo removal and pigmentation treatment, not for hair removal.
What is the difference between Q-Plus and Thunder?
Thunder is a Mixed Technology laser dedicated to hair removal and dermatological indications; Q-Plus is a Q-Switched laser focused on tattoo removal and pigmentation, supporting hair removal only in a suitable configuration. The choice depends on the clinic’s clinical focus.
